Premier John Hamm announces $1.5 million for Sydney YMCA

Premier John Hamm and Energy Minister Cecil Clarke announced a $1.5 million investment Jan. 12, at the YMCA in Sydney. Cape Breton Regional Municipality has also committed $1.5 million to the project. Another $3.75 million has been committed by Enterprise Cape Breton Corporation. So far, the province has committed ONLY $1.3 million to the proposed recreation centre at mainland common.
